Researching and writing a professional press release is an art, and there are rules that need to be observed. Are most people aware of these rules and, even if they are, do they make the effort to follow them? Check out our blog post: Why are there so many bad press releases?

Case Studies

What is a case study?

It's the write-up of a successful project – but it's also much more than that.

You already know that, if you're determined to improve your marketing communications, you need to see through your customers' eyes and talk your customers' language. And who better to help you achieve this than an actual customer!

You can read more about what makes a great case study – and how it can benefit you and your client – in our blog post: The case for case studies

Blogs

What is a blog?

Merriam-Webster defines a blog as, "a regular feature appearing as part of an online publication that typically relates to a particular topic and consists of articles and personal commentary by one or more authors."

In plain English then, it's news or updates which could be of interest to your readers, but which aren't necessary time-sensitive.

There are many valid reasons for publishing regular blog posts on your website. Funnily enough, some of these are discussed in Writesphere's blog post: Blog, blog, blog is not just blah, blah, blah.

In summary, a blog is a great way for your potential clients to see that you're an expert in your sector, and for them to hear your voice. Your blog posts should be written in a style that reflects the tone and calibre of your business. This authenticity naturally adds to your credibility and helps customers get to know you, even from afar.

Do you want to get the most from your blog?

These are Writesphere's blog package prices (which can run for up to 12 months):

$1,140 (+ GST) for four blog posts
$1,500 (+ GST) for six blog posts
$2,850 (+ GST) for 12 blog posts

MailChimp e-newsletters

Mailchimp e-newsletters are a handy way of keeping in touch with your database, updating with news and developments from your business, sharing some global perspectives from your industry, promoting the services of one of your outstanding clients, and perhaps even running an occasional competition.

Whatever you do, don't bombard your readers with e-mails, and don't just push a "buy, buy, buy" sales pitch at them. You wouldn't want to receive this, so why should you subject anyone else to it?

Writesphere and Outbox partner on a regular basis to help mutual clients deliver professional-looking, relevant, thought-provoking messages to their contacts' inboxes.

If you'd like to find more about the benefits of choosing Mailchimp, please check out Outbox's blog: 10 reasons to use MailChimp for your e-newsletters.
